Power Systems Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Systems Consultant to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high voltage (HV) power studies and a strong background in power systems engineering. This role involves providing expert consultancy services conducting detailed power system studies and offering technical solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive HV power system studies including load flow analysis short circuit analysis transient stability analysis and protection coordination.
• Develop and implement power system models using industrystandard software tools.
• Analyze and interpret study results to provide actionable recommendations and solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver customized power system solutions.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and clients.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends standards and technologies in power systems engineering.
• Ensure compliance with local and international standards and regulations.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in power systems engineering with a focus on HV power studies.
• Proficiency in power system analysis software such as ETAP PSS/E or DIgSILENT PowerFactory.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional certification (e.g. PE CEng) is a plus.
• Experience working in the Middle East particularly in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
