Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Systems Consultant to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high voltage (HV) power studies and a strong background in power systems engineering. This role involves providing expert consultancy services conducting detailed power system studies and offering technical solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive HV power system studies including load flow analysis short circuit analysis transient stability analysis and protection coordination.
- Develop and implement power system models using industrystandard software tools.
- Analyze and interpret study results to provide actionable recommendations and solutions.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver customized power system solutions.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and clients.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends standards and technologies in power systems engineering.
- Ensure compliance with local and international standards and regulations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in power systems engineering with a focus on HV power studies.
- Proficiency in power system analysis software such as ETAP PSS/E or DIgSILENT PowerFactory.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional certification (e.g. PE CEng) is a plus.
- Experience working in the Middle East particularly in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
