- The Academic Coordinator is responsible for effective curriculum delivery, the achievement of departmental goals, learning outcomes and the meeting of targets and benchmarks.
- They have a key role in the development of a positive work environment – one that is innovative and responsive to children needs. They are expected to be careful stewards of the preschool assets and effective managers of budgets. They work with the leadership team to achieve the preschool's vision and mission.
- The Academic Coordinator oversees the development of teaching materials according to the centrally designed curriculum, and manages the performance of the teaching staff. They conduct staff training, assess educational materials, evaluate educational strategies and mentor new teachers to help them develop effective instructional methods and strategies.
- In addition to teachers, Academic Coordinators work closely with the admissions team, operations team and the Learning Design team to ensure compliance with educational standards, preschool and children performance, and accountability.
