ACG3594JOB Our client is looking for seasoned professionals to become part of their team:
1. Manage Underwriting & Reinsurance operation:
- Support HoD in managing and overseeing underwriting (UW) and reinsurance (RI) activities to ensure
compliance with regulatory requirements and Companys strategy and policies.
- Provide underwriting and reinsurance technical advice for the Marketing department to make proper
offers to customers.
- Implement underwriting audit.
- Supervise portfolio analysis underwriting results and performance; consolidate findings report and
propose corrective actions to superiors when necessary.
- Manage UW Guideline and all underwriting-related manual guides in respect of Insurance Products.
2. Products development and management reports analysis:
- Participate in developing reviewing & revamping new products tariff wordings of policies terms &
conditions for new markets clients business projects etc.
- Coordinate with Actuary and relevant department on pricing methodology and product performance
evaluation
- Support product registration and amendment processes with regulatory authorities as assigned.
- Support HoD in managing monitoring and consolidating UWRI data; prepare UWRI reports as required
by the job.
3. Governance tasks.
- Manage standard Policy wording/ clauses and forms of insurance products.
- Work with Compliance Risk Management and other departments to ensure UWRI activities comply with
laws internal regulations and Management direction.
4. People Management & development:
- Support the Head of Department in organizing assigning tasks monitoring and evaluating the
performance of team members.
- Provide training and professional development for staff.
5. Participate in projects related to underwriting and reinsurance.
6. Other duties as required by the job or assigned by superior.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree or higher;
- Experience: At least 7 years of working experience in the non-life insurance industry including a minimum
of 2 years in team management;
- Professional knowledge: Knowledge of insurance and reinsurance products and market;
- Excellent ability of risk analysis and evaluation;
- Good project management skill;
- Effective interpersonal presentation and negotiation skill;
- Adept use of MS Office;
- Fluent English

Required Skills:
A Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field. 7-10 years of experience in IT architecture system integration and enterprise technology implementation within the life insurance or financial services sector. Proven expertise in designing and deploying IT architecture frameworks for core insurance systems cloud environments and digital platforms. Strong proficiency in API management microservices and enterprise data integration. Experience collaborating with IT vendors system integrators and cloud service providers. Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and IT governance best practices. Experience building IT capabilities from the ground up in a startup or newly launched business. Ability to design IT architectures that align with business priorities and operational efficiencies. Expertise in cloud-based and hybrid IT environments. Knowledge of AI machine learning blockchain and automation within the insurance industry. Strong ability to engage with business teams IT vendors and financial institutions. Familiarity with data protection laws cybersecurity regulations and financial IT standards. Skilled in enterprise service bus microservices and system interoperability. Strong ability to assess IT architecture needs and develop strategic solutions. Capable of identifying business challenges and designing IT strategies to address them. Ensures IT solutions enhance user experience and improve operational efficiency. Ability to drive digital transformation initiatives and lead IT teams effectively.
