Job Summary

Hi there were Article. Were a North American-based furniture company creating remarkably better furniture experiences one sofa at a time. And as the Sourcing Specialist (Decor) youll be responsible for developing qualifying onboarding and managing suppliers across the Decor categoryincluding Home Textiles Lighting and Housewaresensuring they consistently deliver exceptional quality competitive costs reliable capacity and on-time performance.

In the sourcing team youll own a portfolio of strategic suppliers and play a critical role in executing our category sourcing strategy. Youll drive supplier performance identify cost optimization opportunities mitigate supply chain risks and partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards from development through production.

What started in 2019 as a project to strengthen our relationships with our Asian vendors has grown into a permanent operation in Ho Chi Minh City. Article currently has 70 employees in Vietnam across our Sourcing Technical Product Development Quality HR Logistics PMO and Accounting functions.

What Youll Do:

Youll be part of a team of 2 experienced sourcing professionals working to build a high-performing supplier base across the Decor category. Your focus will be driving improvements in quality cost delivery and supplier performance.

Find qualify onboard and manage suppliers across Home Textiles Lighting and Housewares.
Build strong supplier partnerships by managing production capacity delivery and operational risks.
Track and drive supplier performance using KPIs regular business reviews and corrective actions.
Identify and execute opportunities to reduce costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing lead times capacity planning and production.
Partner with Product Development Quality and Supply Chain teams to support new product launches.
Prepare clear sourcing reports and provide quick solution-oriented recommendations to stakeholders.
Travel locally and internationally to support supplier development and business needs.

Who You Are:

Qualifications

5 years of experience in sourcing procurement or supply chain management.
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business or a related field.
Proven experience in supplier development commercial negotiations and relationship management.
A consistent track record of demonstrating above the line behavior (ownership accountability responsibility) when collaborating with global partners.

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes compliance standards and production efficiency.
Solid technical knowledge of Home Textiles and Housewares.
Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to optimize total costs using data and KPIs.

Tools We Use

G-suite (Google Sheets) and Microsoft Excel.
ERP systems and modern sourcing tools.

Additional Requirements

Excellent English communication and negotiation skills to collaborate easily with North American teams across different time zones.
Highly adaptable and resilient to consistently deliver great results in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

Sourcing experience specifically within the Lighting category.
