Senior Lab Technician Minerals

• Receive and review the lab request and SOPs before conducting the test
• Perform test in a proper manner following the laboratory procedures
• Ensure the accuracy and precision of analysis results
• Prepare the accurate report and pass to section manager for final issuance
• Carry out scheduled instrument calibration and maintenance in accordance with the written procedures and troubleshoot malfunctions when needed
• Keep Section Supervisor / Lab Manager informed in daily basic
• Improve and develop new analytical procedures or methods
• Maintain samples and chemicals in good condition to avoid damage of samples
• Train new staff on using of Lab equipment make sure they follow SOP & safety regulations
• Be compliant to all SGS QHSE and HR policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as directed by the section supervisor/manager

Qualifications :

• University graduated in Chemical Engineering or Analytical chemistry
• Previous experience in general mineral laboratory preferred but not essential
• Familiar with testing standards and procedures
• Experience in testing service
• Teamwork and cooperation
• Good command in English
• Can work overtime as required
• Prefer Male
