Senior Java Engineer

About Company:

Our client is a software development and digital solutions company serving clients across the FinTech Gaming and Marketing sectors. The company has successfully delivered 20 innovative products across 5 international markets including Brazil Armenia Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

As part of the games team theyre looking for a Game Designer to shape mobile gaming experiences players keep coming back to from core gameplay loops to the story and characters that bring the game to life.

Responsibilities:

• Take part in or lead system design discussions that shape the teams technology choices.
• Design and build backend logic and APIs that power the product end to end.
• Own code quality: write unit and integration tests and review teammates code before it ships.
• Deploy and tune applications for speed scale and security in production.
• Design and analyze systems using diagrams and process flows including database design.
• Push for solid distributed-systems thinking from data structures and algorithms to complex software and protocol design.
• Continuously look for ways to scale and optimize system performance as usage grows.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Java (Golang or PHP is a plus).
• Comfortable working across MySQL ClickHouse Redis and Elasticsearch.
• Practical experience with message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiar with gRPC Docker CI/CD Cloud VM deployment and observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Skilled at designing and analyzing systems diagrams process flows and database design.
• Track record of scaling and optimizing system performance under real-world load.
• Advanced understanding of distributed systems design patterns data structures algorithms and protocol design.
