Senior Game Designer (Casual & Midcore Games)

On behalf of our client we are hiring a Senior Game Designer to support their growing game development team. Our client is a leading global digital entertainment and gaming company recognized for delivering high-impact mid-core and casual titles to millions of players worldwide.

Joining the team as a Senior Game Designer you will play a pivotal role in shaping the core player experience architecting engaging systems and driving feature development from concept to launch. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data-optimized gameplay that captivates global audiences.

• Gameplay & Systems: Design core gameplay mechanics player interaction loops and systems for casual and midcore games.
  
• Progression Design: Develop player progression structures including leveling unlocks and rewards.
  
• Economy & Balancing: Design and balance in-game economies including currencies rewards upgrade costs and drop rates.
  
• Feature Development: Create new gameplay features game modes and content to boost player engagement.
  
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and artists to implement and iterate on game features.
  
• Data Optimization: Analyze game metrics (retention session time level completion) to improve gameplay systems.
  

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Multimedia Game Design IT Digital Arts or a related field.
  
• At least 4 years in game development focusing on prototyping system design and playtesting.
  
• Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine and standard design tools.
  
• Proactive in using AI tools and automation to improve productivity and quality.
  
• Self-starter who takes ownership of tasks and solves problems independently.
  
• Curious about different game genres/styles and quick to adopt new tools or workflows.
  
• Ability to work well both independently and in cross-functional teams.
  
• Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
