Job Summary
Production Planning Management for Weber VTIN Gyproc OEM and Duraflex
- Manage and consolidate production plans across all assigned product categories and VTIN factories including Hung Yen and Hai Phong plants.
- Prepare monthly and yearly production plans based on budget monthly forecast and rolling forecast.
- Develop finished goods inventory plans based on demand forecast order projection and agreed min/max stock levels.
- Ensure sufficient finished goods availability to support customer orders and sales demand.
- Analyze actual sales performance to rebalance inventory levels optimize raw material ordering and improve production efficiency.
Raw Material Planning and Management
- Prepare daily monthly and yearly raw material ordering plans based on actual sales performance and rolling forecast.
- Ensure raw material inventory is maintained within agreed min/max levels and aligned with demand variation by SKU.
- Monitor material delivery schedules and ensure raw materials arrive according to committed lead time.
- Optimize total inventory cost across finished goods and raw materials.
- Coordinate with internal suppliers and external vendors to follow up on raw material quality feedback and issue resolution.
Sales Performance and Forecast Analysis
- Analyze actual sales performance against forecast and budget to support more accurate demand planning with the Sales team.
- Conduct ABC/XYZ segmentation analysis to classify SKUs and develop suitable production strategies for each product group.
- Monitor SKUs with shelf-life constraints to prevent raw material expiry and inventory risks.
Planning System and Process Development
- Develop planning management files and reporting tools to ensure timely updates of sales volume production output and inventory status.
- Build and standardize operating processes for finished goods raw materials new product development and related planning activities.
- Train new team members and support capability building when there are process or organizational changes.
- Ensure new products and new raw materials are launched on time according to committed timelines.
- College degree or above preferably in Economics Foreign Languages Business Administration or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar planning role.
- Strong knowledge of production planning supply planning inventory management and demand coordination.
- Good reporting analytical and computer skills.
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Economics Engineering Supply Chain or related fields. Strong numerical analytical and data interpretation skills. Basic understanding of key supply chain KPIs such as SFA PSA OTIF and related performance indicators. Ability to respond flexibly to challenging situations and provide timely practical solutions. Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly concisely and logically. Good listening skills collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Word Excel email internet applications and relevant professional software for daily work. Proactive accountable and able to take ownership of assigned responsibilities. Able to work under pressure in a dynamic and flexible working environment. English communication skills are an advantage.
