On behalf of our client we are hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to support their new manufacturing plant setup and daily operations. Our client is a leading Swiss-FDI company specializing in the automotive sector focusing on high-quality manufacturing solutions.
Joining the team as a Maintenance Supervisor you will lead the technical team to ensure all manufacturing equipment operates at peak efficiency. You will play a hands-on role in setting up new machinery minimizing downtime and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and manage the maintenance team to ensure maximum equipment availability reliability and optimal performance.
Develop and execute comprehensive maintenance plans including preventive predictive and breakdown maintenance.
Act as the lead technical expert to troubleshoot and resolve complicated machinery issues.
Analyze machine performance data to optimize maintenance procedures and increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Control the maintenance budget effectively and ensure adequate stock of spare parts and tools.
Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment and support factory setup projects.
Maintain strict compliance with all safety quality and environmental regulation.
Job Requirements
Technical skills:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical Mechatronics Engineering or a closely related field.
At least 5 years of practical maintenance experience with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory position.
Mandatory experience working within the automotive manufacturing industry.
Deep understanding and hands-on expertise in electrical mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Soft skills:
Good command of English (both verbal and written) to communicate effectively with international experts and management.
Strong leadership and team management abilities to guide and motivate technicians.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive hands-on approach.
Willingness to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic manufacturing environment.
