Our client is a one of the leading companies in construction real estate investment in Vietnam who is seeking an experienced candidate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Technical Responsibilities
  • Review technical designs to ensure operational suitability and efficiency.
  • Coordinate the resolution of technical issues arising during project construction.
  • Assess and advise management on technical matters affecting project quality schedule and investment efficiency.
2. Technical Standards Development & Control
  • Develop technical standards requirements and evaluation criteria for different asset types.
  • Ensure technical system designs meet operational standards and project requirements.
3. Technical Advisory & Planning
  • Develop and review maintenance plans for technical systems.
  • Review technical tools spare parts and equipment requirements for projects preparing for operation.
  • Review renovation plans and develop initiatives to reduce costs and improve technical system efficiency.
4. Technical Operations Management
  • Manage and inspect technical operations at operating properties to ensure equipment and systems function properly.
  • Develop preventive maintenance schedules for major M&E systems and equipment including air-conditioning systems boilers generators elevators electrical and water systems.
5. Human Resources Management & Development
  • Manage workforce planning recruitment training and team development within the Technical function.
  • Evaluate employee performance and recommend appointments transfers rewards or disciplinary actions as appropriate.
  • Develop technical training and succession plans while maintaining a professional and disciplined working environment.
6. Pre-Opening Activities
  • Manage technical pre-opening activities for properties preparing to commence operations.
  • Develop and review project operating budgets and related costs.
  • Coordinate and guide the technical handover process between project management teams and operating teams.
7. Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Coordinate with other department heads on maintenance and operational matters.
  • Work with architects M&E consultants and relevant authorities on project approvals implementation and licensing requirements.
8. Other Responsibilities
  • Perform other duties assigned in accordance with the positions responsibilities.


Requirements
1. Education
  • Bachelors degree or higher in M&E Engineering HVAC Electrical & Electronics Engineering Construction Building Management or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications in M&E Energy Management Hotel Engineering Sustainability Project Management or HSE are preferred.
2. Experience
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in hotels or resorts including at least 5 years as Head of Technical/Engineering Department at 45 star hotels or resorts.

3. Professional Expertise
  • Strong knowledge of technical and asset management M&E systems energy efficiency and sustainable operations.
  • Experience in reviewing technical designs preparing pre-opening budgets and managing handover and trial-run activities.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance SOP development and core technical systems including HVAC fire protection electrical water supply and drainage and elevators.
  • Experience in managing OPEX CAPEX energy costs spare parts technical compliance safety and environmental requirements.
4. Leadership & Management
  • Strong systematic and analytical thinking with the ability to identify root causes manage risks and make effective decisions.
  • Ability to set objectives manage budgets and resources and oversee implementation across multiple projects or properties.
  • Strong people management capabilities including team development coaching performance management and succession planning.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with management internal teams operating units and external stakeholders.
5. Key Skills
  • Strong change management problem-solving coordination and decision-making skills.
  • Results-oriented adaptable and proactive in applying technology to improve technical operations.
  • Fluent English across all four skills.

Required Skills:

1. Education Bachelors degree or higher in Business Administration Finance or a related field. Postgraduate qualifications or overseas experience in Tourism or Resort Real Estate are preferred. 2. Experience Minimum 10 years of experience in the hotel and resort industry including at least 5 years in a similar position at a hotel chain management company operating 4-star properties or above. 3. Professional Expertise Strong experience in pre-opening management hotel operations technical and asset management and OS&E procurement. Ability to develop standardized pre-opening strategies operating models and service standards across multiple properties. Strong understanding of hotel financial and operational performance including revenue optimization yield management OPEX CAPEX and asset value optimization. Experience in sustainable asset management supply chain risk management and the application of technology to improve operational efficiency. 4. Leadership & Management Strong strategic thinking business analysis and decision-making capabilities. Ability to set objectives manage budgets and risks and establish consistent operating systems across different properties and operating units. Strong people leadership capabilities including talent assessment team development succession planning coaching and performance management. Ability to influence and coordinate effectively with senior management internal teams operators and other stakeholders. 5. Key Skills Strong change management problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills. Strong service mindset adaptability and results orientation. Fluent English across all four skills.
