About Company:

Our client is a software development and digital solutions company serving clients across the FinTech Gaming and Marketing sectors. The company has successfully delivered 20 innovative products across 5 international markets including Brazil Armenia Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

As part of the games team theyre looking for a Game Designer to shape mobile gaming experiences players keep coming back to from core gameplay loops to the story and characters that bring the game to life.

Responsibilities:

• Design and balance gameplay systems from core loops to risk/reward mechanics that keep players engaged and coming back.
• Build levels and environments that bring the games world to life.
• Shape the narrative layer: storylines character backstories and dialogue backed by solid research.
• Partner with UX/UI designers to craft an interface that feels intuitive and fun to use.
• Document design decisions clearly outlines diagrams and mockups that spell out triggers interactions and outcomes for every feature.

Requirements:

• A portfolio that shows real shipped work bonus points if it includes games for kids or educational titles.
• 4 years of game design experience with a genuine passion for games and a finger on the pulse of market and retro-gaming trends.
• Strong grasp of game design fundamentals: mechanics level design UI/UX and reward systems.
• Comfortable building prototypes independently in Figma.
• Hands-on experience with game engines/tools such as Cocos Creator Unreal Engine or similar.
• Familiar with mobile hardware platforms and the tech that powers mobile games.
• Self-driven adaptable and genuinely committed to seeing a game through to a great final result.
