Dev Technology is seeking aSenior Windows Administrator to join our team. As a Senior Windows Administrator you willbe responsible foroverseeing the design implementation and maintenance of Windows-based servers and systems. Your role will involve managing server infrastructure troubleshooting issues and ensuring the reliability and security of the Windows environment.
What Youll Be Doing:
Administer and maintain Windows-based server infrastructure including installation configuration and patch management
Monitor and alert on the health and status of all infrastructure hardware and software components
Monitor system performance identify bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies to ensure performance and reliability
Providing incident response support to include break/fix restoration of service and provisioning of services.
Develop and maintain patching and upgrade plans
Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations procedures and SOPs
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness by implementing appropriate backup and restoration strategies
Install configure and troubleshoot the local and wide area network applications including software development tools and operating systems
Management maintenance and support of all Backup & Restore platforms hardware and software
Required Education Experience and Skills:
This is an on-site position at a government facility
An Active SecretClearance isrequired
This contract supports systems that require 24x7x365 uptime
Candidates must be willing and able to meet recall requirements including participation in a rotational on-call schedule ifrequired
7 or more years of experience in the following:
Dell Intel-based servers
HP Intel-based servers
MS domain infrastructure: Active Directory DNS DHCP DFS Network Policy Server
MS Windows 10
McAfee Antivirus
Symantec Endpoint Protection
Veritas NetBackup 8.12
Our estimated salary range for this position is $65600-$78000. This presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Offered salary is based on education experience geographic location and possibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role. *Salary could fall outside of this range.
