Welder second shift

We have a challenging and exciting opportunity for Welders to work on industrial machines in our newest facility in Mesquite TX.

Summary:

Construct and assemble metal components for production and facility operation.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Fabricates new or replacement metal parts and components for production products.
• Assembles component parts using hand tools and small power tools.
• Conducts first-piece and in-process inspections adjusts as necessary to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Ensures accurate machine operation.
• Assists with equipment change-overs.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to read and understand welding symbols and terminology.
• Ability to read and follow weldment assembly drawings.
• Solid understanding of proper welding procedures.
• Steady hands and good hand-eye coordination.
• Physical strength and endurance.
• High aptitude for math; ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Commitment to all aspects of safety.
• Able to handle working on and completing projects within tight deadlines while maintaining professionalism.

Education and Experience:

• 2 years of experience as a Welder; Certification or Licensed preferred.
• Forklift experience is helpful but not required.
• Bi-lingual Spanish a plus.

Work Hours:

Typical schedule is 4:30pm - 3:00am Monday - Thursday with occasional need for overtime as required to complete production activities.
