Get hands-on experience in a real fabrication environment while learning core welding and shop skills. This internship is built for entry-level candidates looking to develop practical trade experience and grow into a full-time welder.
What Youll Do
Assist with basic fabrication and welding tasks using FCAW and GMAW methods
Read and follow simple blueprints and work instructions
Use hand and power tools (grinders chipping hammers etc.) safely and effectively
Help prep fit and clean materials for welding
Maintain a clean organized workspace (5S standards)
Follow all safety and quality procedures
Track work hours and job activity in the company system (SAP or similar)
Support team members to complete jobs on time and to standard
What Makes You a Good Fit
High school diploma or GED
02 years of experience (shop class or welding school counts)
Basic understanding of welding processes (FCAW/GMAW preferred)
Ability to read simple blueprints or willingness to learn
Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
