WaterWastewater Civil Engineer (Multiple Positions)

Water/Wastewater Civil Engineer (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Consulting Services Inc.; Bellevue WA): Apply civil engineering principles for new and existing water recycled water wastewater and conveyance projects. Develop and prepare reports planning studies specifications detailed design drawings construction submittal reviews calculations models (e.g. treatment process and process control models) and other technical deliverables for treatment conveyance and infrastructure-related projects. Conduct treatment process evaluations supported by field assessment and targeted water quality sampling. Supervise project teams in planning and/or designing engineering projects/tasks and coordinate special planning and engineering studies. Direct the work of project engineers including other disciplines such as drafters designers and other engineers. Delegate and oversee the work of technical and supporting staff. Provide consultation in specialized areas such as water/wastewater treatment make decisions and solve problems. Prepare presentations to clients and for professional meetings. Coordinate with clients on projects during planning design and construction. Participate in project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants owner and contractor subcontractors and vendors. Assist with business development and project pursuits.40 hours per week M-F (9:00 a.m.5:00 p.m.). Salary range is $131373 - $155500 per year.The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education qualifications experience & work location.#LI-DNI #GTM

Requirements:

Must have a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering or a related field and 6 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering or a related field and 8 years of post-bachelors progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience must have 6 years of experience with the following: Biowin SIMBA# SUMO or GPS-X modeling tools; Preparing engineering studies and designs for water/wastewater treatment and infrastructure projects; and Conducting modeling evaluations and planning for water/wastewater treatment process design including process control simulations and analysis.

Of the required experience must have 4 years of experience with the following: MATLAB or Python.

Must have an active U.S. Professional Engineer license.

Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week.

Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 10%.

Travel to various international locations required up to 5%.
