The Vessel Assembler is responsible for the assembly testing inspection and continuous improvement of pressure vessels and related products. This position requires the ability to interpret engineering drawings follow standardized work instructions utilize hand and power tools perform quality inspections and ensure products meet customer and company specifications. The assembler will work closely with manufacturing quality engineering and leadership teams to maintain safety productivity and quality standards.

Summer work hours are Monday Thursday 6:00am-3:30pm and Fridays 6:00am-10:00am with occasional overtime required and occasional Saturday. After Labor Day production hours return to Monday Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.

Job Duties:

Assembly and Production

• Assemble pressure vessels and related products according to engineering drawings work instructions travelers and specifications while safely operating hand tools power tools impact tools cranes and lifting equipment using drawings blueprints Bills of Materials (BOMs) part numbers and assembly instructions.
• Build multiple vessel configurations independently while maintaining or exceeding daily production goals by cutting trimming filing bending smoothing parts
• Verify sizes and fitting tolerances in order to ensure proper fit and clearance of parts
• Install studs fittings hoses and components while preventing cross-threading and assembly defects
• Perform vessel air testing and leak testing
• Complete hose reel assembly and installation
• Utilize proper assembly methods and best practices to ensure product quality and reliability
• Adjust repair rework or replace parts and assemblies to eliminate defects and to ensure proper operation
• Assist in plant operations when needed and perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Knowledge of machines and tools including their designs uses repair and maintenance. Ability to work with hand tools power tools and assembly equipment
• Familiar with industrial safety environment and use of common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes welding helmet glasses gloves hearing protection and hard hats (BETA will provide or reimburse)
• Physical Requirements using hands to handle control or feel objects and tools ability to read written instructions lift and/or move materials up to 50 pounds independently able to stand for long periods of time able to walk bend and stoop
• Able to work in loud non-temperature controlled manufacturing environment
