We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Laboratory Technician to support quality standards by testing incoming materials and finished products and accurately documenting results. Strong communication attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and non-routine laboratory activities including testing of incoming material and finished products for specifications and sensory evaluation.
Approve/reject the product within the time stipulated.
Identify and troubleshoot common problems/issues encountered. Keep daily record and appropriate documentation on all laboratory work performed.
Independently operate standard equipment/procedures to the required level.
Assure compliance of SHE procedure and proactively contribute to the improvement of lab safety.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma required.
Degree/Diploma in Chemistry with at least 1 year of relevant working experience.
Ability to work independently as well as within a multi-cultural team.
Must be willing to work overtime when required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in odor/sensory evaluation.
Background or experience in fragrance industry.
Experience with SAP is a plus.
Experience in handling GC & GCMS is preferred.
