Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients employees and visitors.

This role requires a proactive approach to security excellent observational skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in preventing incidents and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

*Duties*

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms incidents or emergencies providing assistance as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings grounds and equipment to identify potential security risks.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents observations and activities during shifts.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary and assist in investigations.
• Manage conflicts effectively while maintaining professionalism and composure.
• Provide first aid or CPR assistance when required ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.

*Qualifications*

• Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred but not mandatory.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is a plus.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must possess a valid drivers license and have reliable transportation.
• A military background or relevant certification can be advantageous.
