We are seeking a Traveling Technical Deployment Technician to support Amazon deployments across the United States. Responsibilities Infrastructure & Cabling
Install route support and terminate Cat6 cabling
Install copper fiber and power patching infrastructure
Perform cable labeling and documentation
Maintain clean and organized cable management practices
Perform cable testing and certification as required
Equipment & Rack Installation
Rack and stack customer-provided equipment
Install and organize equipment within MDF and IDF environments
Install and connect power copper and fiber infrastructure
Ground cabinets and equipment as required
Wireless & Technology Deployments
Install wireless access points (APs) and related infrastructure
Install backboxes and mounting hardware
Support deployment of Amazon Walk-In / Walk-Out technology systems
Install customer-provided devices and equipment
Verify proper installation and operation of deployed systems
Camera & Security Device Installation
Install camera systems and associated infrastructure
Mount customer-provided devices according to project requirements
Install supporting cabling and infrastructure
Verify proper placement and operation of installed equipment
Documentation & Customer Support
Utilize laptops email customer portals and Smartsheets daily
Complete project documentation and reporting requirements
Maintain asset tracking and installation records
Coordinate with project leadership and customer representatives
Represent client professionally on customer sites
Qualifications Required
Experience with structured cabling or low-voltage installation
Ability to travel extensively nationwide
Experience working in commercial technology environments
Strong communication and customer service skills
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to utilize:
Email
Microsoft Office
Customer portals
Smartsheets or similar platforms
Reliable transportation to and from major airports

Primarily Monday through Friday
Standard business hours
Occasional after-hours weekend and alternate-shift work may be required based on customer needs

Extensive nationwide travel - this role requires consistent nationwide travel throughout the year
Typical project durations range from 2-3 weeks
Travel directly from home market to project sites or from project site to project site
Have opportunity to return home between deployments as project schedules allow
