You work hard for your money why wait to be paid!Position Summary:The Van Operator is a qualified safety-conscious driver responsible for transporting clients from their homes to the agency in the morning and returning them home in the evening. This position requires a clean driving record general vehicle maintenance knowledge and flexibility to adapt to last-minute schedule changes. The operator ensures the safety punctuality and comfort of all passengers while maintaining a professional and positive & Responsibilities:Safely transport passengers to and from their homes and the agency ensuring timely ensure client safety by:Obeying all traffic laws and securing seatbelts and wheelchair securement clients on and off the Van as disputes or behaviors safety concerns or potential problems pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections accurately completing required documentation and promptly reporting mechanical issues to the and maintain daily transportation logs repair notes and rider and interact with passengers in a friendly professional manner; maintain positive relationships with clients coworkers and flexible and available for changes in schedule including on-call advance notice when unable to complete a scheduled run to allow for back-up with agency functions including fundraising efforts as the agency in a professional manner maintaining a positive public image at all confidentiality regarding clients and agency in and successfully complete all agency-required the assigned vehicle clean both inside and out on a daily other duties as assigned including committee participation and conference :Valid drivers license with a clean driving knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety to safely operate a Van including securing wheelchair securement to adapt to last-minute schedule changes and willingness to be communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact positively with clients and to maintain confidentiality and represent the agency in a professional ability to assist passengers on and off the vehicle as to completing all required training and safety $17.80/hour
