Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Production Operator at our manufacturing facility in Marlette United States. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining industrial presses ensuring high-quality production and adherence to safety standards.
- Set up operate and monitor industrial presses to produce high-quality parts and components
- Read and interpret work orders blueprints and production schedules
- Perform regular quality checks on produced items to ensure they meet specifications
- Conduct basic maintenance and troubleshooting on press equipment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Report any equipment malfunctions or production issues to supervisors promptly
- Maintain accurate records of production output and material usage
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a press operator preferred
- Proficiency in operating industrial presses and related equipment
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to perform routine maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret work orders blueprints and production schedules
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Willingness to work second shift or third shift hours
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety procedures
