The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $68625 to $100650 salary at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location education experience knowledge and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
What You Will Do in This Role
- Responsible for performing professional and/or technical activities providing advice and direction in tools/asset management.
- Working on a collaborative team with cross-functional responsibilities related to tools/asset management.
- Track equipment/tool trailer demand and moves for a rotating 6-12 month look ahead.
- Support and maintain & audit the implementation of Tools/Asset Tracking software.
- Keeping accurate inventory for all job sites to ensure the availability of tools.
- Fulfill the site needs for EHS equipment per OSHA standards.
- Maintaining vendor relationships for all purchasing and repair needs.
- Create purchase requisitions for equipment needed for jobsites.
- Manage shipping details for all equipment moves/transfers.
- Troubleshoot any equipment mechanical issues and schedule appropriate maintenance or repair.
- Adheres and promotes the Dematic Installation values of SQDCP
- Safety - Must be very safety conscious and provide overall safety leadership.
- Quality Focuses the team on high quality installations install right the first time
- Delivery Plan & Manage installation schedule in collaboration with the Project Execution Team
- Cost Identifying skill gaps and training resources to be efficient and mindful of project costing
- People Maintaining a safe skilled effective workforce with a focus on growth and development
What we are looking for:
- Working experience supporting large construction in material handling equipment and/or industrial plant maintenance
- Comprehensive understanding of small hand tools and equipment (i.e. forklift trucks cranes etc.)
- Knowledge of Lean 5S Method related to warehousing
- Logistics experience: Working with 3PL managing LTL or Full Truck Loads
- Inventory management skills
- Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends holidays and evenings to accommodate site service needs
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Must have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
