Position Summary

PODER Elementary is a small-school environment where teachers track individual students and tailor instruction accordingly. There is a heavy focus on classroom management where behavior disruptions are minimized. Seeking creative minds who enjoy supporting students academic and social/emotional needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher
• Able to pass a background check
• Passion and/or experience working with ages 5-12 Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus (not required) Substitute License (not required but will be beneficial).

Responsibilities

• Provide small group and individual instruction conduct data review extra sanitation academic support classroom coverage & social/emotional support as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to fulfill students academic & social/emotional needs
• Be a self-motivated team player ready to support needs of students staff and overall school
