Position Purpose:TheTest Technician Iwillhave theresponsibilityofsupporting test engineering tasks associated with the development qualification and acceptance testing efforts ofspacecraft systems.Thistechnicianwould be working in a team environment sometimes with remote team members engaging in test and support of flightand non-flightspacecraft electronics.The Test Technician will be expected toexecutetests using aerospace standard approaches.

(Salary to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data.)

On-site position at our Boulder CO location (work locations are subject to change based on business need).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Assisttest engineerswith integration and test of spacecraft systems and/or ground support equipment
  • Executetest procedures
  • Use test and measurement equipment to test and troubleshoot hardware
  • Document non-conformances and/or test errors as they occur during execution of tests
  • Maintain required test engineering logsand records
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule
  • Establish andmaintaineffective working relationships within the department the Strategic Business Units Strategic SupportUnitsand the Company. Interact appropriately with others tomaintaina positive and productive work environment
  • May include test support on nights or weekends
  • Otherresponsibilities asassigned

Required Qualifications/Education:

  • Experienceperforming board and/or subsystem levelhandling and testing ofelectronicsand hardware
  • Experience with executing manual and/or automated test procedures
  • Ability to work independently with some direction and to be a self-starter
  • 0-2years of experiencein Aerospace or Electronics Test or related field
  • Experience with spacecraft level system integration and testdesired
  • Confidence in a lab environmentdesired
  • Experience with test instrumentation/test rack designdesired
  • Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education


Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers scanners filing cabinets and fax machines. BCT anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
