The Boeing CompanyBoeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking a Test Asset Management Technical Services Specialist to join our team in Seattle WA.
As a Test Asset Management Service Specialist you will have an important and exciting role in the company that includes supporting Flight Test operations to be mission this fast paced hands-on position you will ensure equipment readiness and continuity for Flight Test programs like 777X and 737 MAX by managing tracking delivering and maintaining vital test assets across labs aircraft and locations. Youll provide exceptional customer service accurately update records use scanners to control asset movement and conduct daily 5S upkeep all while supporting planned and emergent flight test activity and offshift requirements as needed.
This role will be responsible for providing products and services that meet the highest technical and quality standards regulatory requirements and company policies and processes and embrace safety and first-time quality as a way of life not accepting creating or passing any defects and speaking up.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate or Mid-Level Test Asset Management Technical Services Specialists.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage 1100 Flight Test assets
Store manage and track all Flight Test equipment
Record database management
Surplus obsolete and damaged equipment
Restock and relocate all test equipment during refurb process
Pick up Dar media from airplane and deliver to data log station (TDRS)
Support Seattle or Everett Flight Test asset management and operations
Attention to details/customer requirements
Works under minimal direction
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62 is Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee
Valid drivers license
Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suites
Ability to lift 35-40 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
1 years of experience with shipping and receiving
1 years of experience with reviewing and approving invoices
1 years of experience with maintaining equipment inventory
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Level 3: 3 or more years related work experienceor an equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to drive a service van
Ability to utilize small lifting mechanisms for heavy equipment
