The Role

As an Account Executive focused on small businesses (companies with 100 employees or fewer) youll own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. This is a high-velocity high-activity role built for someone who loves the energy of short cycles frequent wins and a packed pipeline. Youll be selling HCM and payroll solutions that make a real difference for small business owners and youll do it with the backing of a team that genuinely wants you to win.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect aggressively and build a high-volume pipeline of small business opportunities
  • Drive a fast efficient sales cycle from first touch to signed contract
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue targets
  • Build trust quickly with owners operators and decision-makers at small businesses
  • Develop and sustain Broker and Partner referral relationships to fuel inbound pipeline
  • Collaborate with SDRs Sales Engineers and Marketing to maximize deal velocity
  • Accurately forecast and manage pipeline using CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Represent Netchex at industry events community gatherings and customer meetings

What We Are Looking For

  • 3 years of B2B sales experience with a demonstrated track record of hitting and exceeding quota
  • Experience selling to small businesses or in high-velocity transactional sales environments
  • A hunter mentality; you dont wait for leads you go find them
  • Payroll HCM or HR tech experience is a strong plus but not required
  • Strong ability to build rapport fast and move deals forward without losing the human touch
  • Comfort managing a high volume of opportunities simultaneously without dropping the ball
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g. Salesforce HighSpot)
