Role Responsibilities
- Manage and perform manufacturing engineering and repair activities for Applied Materials new repair center in Chandler AZ.
- Design and improve facility layouts material flow and ergonomics
- Conduct time and motion studies simulations and data analysis to streamline workflows
- Knowledge of should costing process
- Tool Utility Metrix (Tools details for installation & commissioning)
- Clean room specs and applications
- Implement lean manufacturing principles Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives
- Estimate production costs and evaluate cost-saving methods
- Utilize CAD tools to design layouts and optimize space utilization
- Lead improvement projects set timelines and manage budgets
- Fixed assets inventory management
- Develop and execute project plans ensuring successful delivery from planning through implementation.
- Track and drive project deliverables using reports tracking tools and checklists.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources within the business unit to achieve on-time and within-budget project performance.
- Monitor project cost performance and provide regular updates to the business unit.
- Participate in cross-functional design teams to support technical project execution and contribute to overall team development.
- Identify and analyze project risks obstacles and root causes; implement solutions to resolve issues effectively.
- Maintain and improve process performance metrics including tracking matrices to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced team members; may lead small to medium-sized projects.
- Communicate complex or sensitive technical information clearly and build alignment across stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field required; advanced degree (MS/MBA) preferred.
- 47 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering repair operations or a related field.
- Strong analytical mathematical and problemsolving skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes quality assurance and lean principles.
- Proficiency in CAD statistical analysis tools and MS Office.
- Excellent communication teamwork and project management abilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects including planning execution and performance tracking.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Experience working cross-functionally and coordinating resources across teams.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and awareness of market/competitive factors.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and build consensus.
- Ability to work independently within broad guidelines while driving results across multiple stakeholders.

NoThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location hire grade job-related knowledge skills experience and with consideration of internal equity of our current team addition to a comprehensive benefits package candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program as applicable.
For all sales roles the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
