Crucial Requirements: Planview Mastery: Expert-level utilization of Planview for portfolio and resource management is an absolute must. Professional Credentialing: A current PMP certification (or a strictly verifiable equivalent such as PgMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner) is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
1. Vendor Management & Governance SLA & Performance Tracking: Manage third-party software vendors system integrators and implementation partners. Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). SOW & Contract Oversight: Partner with Procurement and Legal to review negotiate and execute Statements of Work (SOWs) software licensing agreements and vendor change orders. Vendor Transformation Alignment: Ensure external vendor delivery matches internal financial transformation timelines holding partners accountable to technical milestones.
2. Project Management & Planview Governance End-to-End Delivery: Own the lifecycle of financial tech projects from inception through deployment ensuring delivery on time within scope and on budget. Planview Administration: Act as the primary champion for Planview utilizing it to manage project schedules resource capacity financial tracking vendor resource allocations and portfolio health. Methodology Rigor: Apply formal project management methodologies (Agile Hybrid or Waterfall) to manage complex technical dependencies and mitigate project risks.
3. Finance Systems & Transformation Process Optimization: Lead extensive transformation initiatives to automate and streamline core financial workflows specifically targeting forecasting precision and reducing month-end close cycle times. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Corporate Finance Accounting Corporate Controller teams and Enterprise Architecture to translate business financial requirements into technical specifications.
Certification Requirement: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or a directly equivalent enterprise-level credential (e.g. PgMP PRINCE2 Practitioner) is a must-have.
Planview Mastery: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience using Planview (Enterprise One LeanKit or PPM Pro) for enterprise-level project and portfolio management.
Vendor Management Track Record: 5 years managing multi-million dollar vendor contracts third-party software implementations and onshore/offshore consultancy teams.
Financial Literacy: Strong foundational understanding of corporate finance GAAP/IFRS principles forecasting budgeting and the mechanics of the month-end close process.
