Raytheon is seeking aSystems Security Engineer II-P2 to join our elite Systems Security Engineering (SSE) team for the Systems Engineering Test & Capabilities Directorate in developing solutions to protect the Warfighters technology advantage. Systems Security Engineering creates holistic security solutions leveraging Cyber Security Software Assurance and Supply Chain Risk Management to support Program Protection Implementation on embedded systems. Join our highly visible team and perform technically challenging assignments which will directly contribute to protecting our nation and our Warfighters. This is an onsite position at Raytheon in McKinney TX.

What You Will Do

• Support implementation of SSE solutions into RTX products

• Help define SSE requirements solutions trades costs implementation system impacts and effectiveness

• Plan and guide SSE implementations in customer systems

• Attack threat modeling / Critical Program Information Assessments

• Developing top-level system requirements and flowing down requirements and implementation concepts to subsystem

• Understanding and compliance with DoD technology release and export licensing policies

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelors Degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of prior relevant experience

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

• Experience in System Security Engineering computer technology reverse engineering cybersecurity or embedded security

Qualifications We Prefer

• Knowledge in generating systems requirements design and architecture artifacts plans and/or policies

• Knowledge in Software Firmware & Microelectronics Engineering Cryptography and FPGA design

• A Degree in Electrical Engineering Systems Engineering Mechanical Engineering Engineering Mechanics Computer Science or Engineering Science

• Broad understanding of technology and working knowledge of DODI-S-5230.28

• Candidate must exhibit ingenuity creativity and resourcefulness

• Experience contributing in a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to technical problems

The salary range for this role is 68900 USD - 131100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
