The Management Information Systems Branch (MISB) supports UNICORs enterprise technology environment including user support infrastructure networking cybersecurity and business systems. As UNICOR continues to modernize its technology environment the Service Desk Technician II will play a key role in supporting usersmaintainingsystem performance and ensuringtimelyresolution of technical issues.
Position Summary
KeenLogicis seeking an experienced System Administrator to support Federal Prison Industries (UNICOR) a government corporation within the U.S. Department of Justice. The System Administrator willbe responsible formaintainingand supporting enterprise Information Technology infrastructureoperatingwithin a Microsoft Windows role supports day-to-day IT operations including systems administration account management workstation and server support operating system configuration software deployment patch management vulnerability remediation and end-user support. The ideal candidate is a hands-on IT professional with experience supporting enterprise environments troubleshooting complex technical issues andmaintainingsecure and reliable technology systems.
This positionoperatesunder a hybrid work model and may require occasional onsite support and travel to UNICOR or Bureau of Prisons facilities as opportunity supports a federal contract with a one-year base period and fouroptionyears offering up to five years of continued Fortune 500-level benefits including health dental and vision insurance PTO 401(k) and life insurance.

Key Job Duties
Administermaintain and support Microsoft Windows Server and Windows 11 environments across enterprise infrastructure.
Manage user accounts permissions group memberships password resets and access controls within Active Directory and related systems.
Install configuremaintain and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers to ensure system reliability performance and availability.
Perform operating system installations upgrades configurations and deployments for servers and workstations.
Administer and support Microsoft 365 Exchange and Outlook environments including user provisioning mailbox management and troubleshooting.
Monitorsystem health and performanceidentifyissues and implement corrective actions tomaintainstable and secure operations.
Perform patch management activities including testing deployment verification and reporting of operating system and application updates.
Conduct vulnerability remediation activities and support compliance with organizational security requirements and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex desktop server operating system software hardware and infrastructure-related issues.
Install configuremaintain and support hardware software applications peripheral devices and enterprise technology solutions.
Support enterprise infrastructure systems and collaborate with network security and support teams to resolve technical issues and improve service delivery.
Assistwith system documentation configuration standards operational procedures and technical knowledge sharing.
Provide technical support and guidance to end users ensuringtimelyresolution of incidents and service requests.
Participatein technology modernization initiatives infrastructure upgrades and system improvement projects.
Support both remote and onsite operations and travel to designated locations asrequiredto support mission and operational needs.
