This role is part of Alcons Engineering function a team focused on improving quality processes products packaging and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes. The Supervisor Automation & Control Engineering (Management Path) is primarily responsible for leading a team in designing developing and maintaining instrument/electrical and automation control systems. You will apply control theory analyze system behavior and ensure efficient task completion. Strong supervisory skills communication and problem-solving are essential.

In this role a typical day will include:

• Oversee team members in designing developing implementing operating and maintaining control systems in manufacturing
• Support and manager team of automation technicians that support 24/7 facility
• Ensure efficient task completion and adherence to processes
• Make day-to-day decisions affecting team members
• Foster a culture of excellence through performance management and talent development
• Drive positive employee relations and enhance engagement and recognition
• Ensure adherence to GxP regulations and Standard Operating Procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and rigorous quality control
• Complete all required training and meet individual job requirements

WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school 10 yrs; Assoc.16yrs; M.S.0 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read write understand and communicate in English
• 2 Years of Relevant Experience
• 1 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
• Location: Onsite Fort Worth- North Mfg
• Travel Requirements: 0 10%
