Job Summary

Program Assistant Student Organized Service

10-month position following the school calendar beginning August 2026

Occasional nights and weekends as needed by event

Approximately 15 hours per week

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist in the behind-the-scenes office work of the Christian Service Outreach Department and Student Organized Service. This work will include scheduling reservations reviewing student service hours and communicating with students and parents.
  • Some assistance with particular student organized service groups particularly in supervision and practical details (i.e. printing their flyers reminding them of systems etc.)
  • Drive a school van occasionally to transport students to service events.
  • Attend two to three overnight service trips to act as a chaperone and one of the van drivers. These trips receive a stipend in addition to the hourly pay.

Position Requirements

  • Be highly organized detail-oriented relationally driven flexible and possess a positive optimistic attitude.
  • Have a passion for the importance of service
  • Able to relate personally with high school students on a daily basis and welcome them in
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (i.e. Word Excel etc.)
  • Completing the ODE requirements for van certification including passing the organization insurance requirements for driving
  • Must be a believing Christian who is comfortable in a denominationally diverse Christian community with a heart for students
