We are your local hardware store part of your community. Farmers and Builders Ace Hardware have 6 stores servicing rural areas of South Georgia. They are small business owners who are local and like they ought to be. While others have become large and impersonal at Ace weve remained small and very personal. We are looking for an experienced and skilled store manager with remarkable skills who will run a store effectively and with attention to detail. Our store manager candidates must be in constant contact with the staff and customers. Store Managers need to be able to ensure staff provide the highest quality customer services and watch the overall financial performance of the store.

The responsibilities of a store manager are to greet the staff and customers provide them with what they need give intelligent recommendations and suggestions build customer and brand trust aid the staff with anything they need and make sure the customers have great experience. Store Managers will also look for local opportunities in the community to grow sales and make a positive lasting impression.

More importantly the perfect store manager candidate should be reliable accommodating courteous and friendly to ensure that the customers are fully satisfied. The ideal candidate shall have an in-depth knowledge of Hardware/Lumber Yard and Garden Center products and aid the team in driving the perfect experience for customers.


Responsibilities of a Store Manager

Follow all Farmers and Builders Ace Hardware Best Practices of Retail

Positive representation of Farmers and Builders Ace Hardware

Enforce policies

Perform reviews of assigned personal

Sales Growth

Grow Ace Rewards scan rate

Limited budget responsibility

Organize and execute four PR events per year

Customer Service and Sales Oversight

Employee scheduling

Inventory ordering

Daily communication with Supervisors and Customer Service Associates

Works with Store leadership to ensure that the daily bank deposit is made.

Train and lead all site employees

Must be able to perform all functions of staff (Our Managers are working Managers).

Cleanliness and maintenance of the store and property

Other duties assigned

Requirements

Store Manager Job Requirements

Clear Leadership: that aligns to the organizations vision and core values.

Self-motivated with a proven track record for success.

5 years in Hardware sales management in a retail setting.

Undergraduate degree in management or other related field: or a combination of education and experience.

Great communication skills

Computer Skills

Analytical/Organizational and problem-solving skills a must.

Interpersonal skills/ with the ability to motivate staff

Team Player

Bilingual a plus
