We are seeking a highly organized detail-driven Staffing Coordinator to join our skilled nursing team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in helping a facility run smoothly. As the Staffing Coordinator you will play a key role in ensuring our residents receive consistent high-quality care by supporting staffing operations and maintaining accurate schedules.

What Youll Do

  • Create update and maintain daily weekly and monthly staffing schedules for nursing and support departments
  • Monitor call-offs attendance and staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts
  • Communicate promptly with department leaders regarding staffing needs open shifts and schedule changes
  • Support new hire onboarding by preparing schedules updating rosters and assisting with orientation logistics
  • Maintain accurate schedules and attendance documentation
  • Respond to staff questions regarding schedules and shift availability
  • Collaborate with HR nursing leadership and department managers to support staffing strategies and managing PPD according to facility metrics.
  • Provide excellent customer service to staff residents and families
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support smooth facility operations

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Active CNA/CMT certification (required)
  • Experience in staffing scheduling or healthcare administration preferred
  • Skilled nursing or long-term care experience is a plus
  • Strong computer skills and comfort with technology
  • Ability to work flexible hours when needed to support staffing needs
