Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / Systems Engineer to support critical infrastructure and platform reliability initiatives for Wells Fargo. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in system administration automation monitoring incident management and cloud/infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the reliability availability and performance of production systems.
• Monitor infrastructure and applications proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Automate operational processes and repetitive tasks.
• Support incident response root cause analysis and problem management activities.
• Collaborate with development infrastructure and support teams to enhance system stability.
• Implement and maintain monitoring alerting and logging solutions.
• Participate in on-call support and production support activities as needed.
• Ensure adherence to security compliance and operational best practices.

Required Skills

• Experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Systems Engineer or Production Support Engineer.
• Strong Linux/Unix system administration skills.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Scripting and automation experience using Python Shell or similar technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP).
• Understanding of networking security and infrastructure concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale environments.
• Financial services or banking industry experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes Docker or containerized environments.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
