Sr. Systems Security Engineer AD

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill theirSenior Systems Engineer (AD / Infra Security / Automation) position! This is a12 month contract opportunityand can behybrid in Buffalo NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Administer and support core infrastructure technologies with a strong focus onActive Directory incident and request management.
• Manage and resolve technical incidents service requests and escalations while ensuring timely communication and high service quality.
• Support and maintain security technologies includingProxySIEMMicrosoft Entra IDDLP andFirewallplatforms.
• Design implement and improve infrastructure solutions for complex enterprise environments across server client and virtual technologies.
• Troubleshoot advanced system network and security issues by identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions.
• Gather analyze and document business and technical requirements then translate them into structured scalable solutions.
• Develop and enhance automation processes and tools to improve efficiency reduce manual effort and strengthen operational consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams stakeholders and technical partners to deliver secure and reliable technology solutions.
• Ensure supported technologies integrate effectively with other systems applications and enterprise services.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending better processes tools and technical standards.

What Youll Need to Have:

• 6 years of professional experience in a technical engineering role supporting infrastructure systems design or complex enterprise technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience withActive Directory administrationand enterprise identity management.
• Proven background inincident managementandrequest managementwithin a production support environment.
• Experience supporting security platforms such asProxySIEMMicrosoft Entra IDDLP andFirewalltechnologies.
• Knowledge of automation tools and scripting to streamline operational processes.
• Strong understanding of server client and virtualization technologies.
• Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across infrastructure and security environments.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into high-quality technical solutions.
• Strong analytical mindset with a process-driven and logical approach to problem solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced evolving environment.

Pay Range:$55 - $65/hr
