Overall Purpose: To drive revenue growth and retention by selling the organizations products and services via telephone within designated market areas or assigned accounts.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include but are not limited to the following: Revenue Retention and Growth: Drive revenue growth by retaining existing customers achieving sales quotas and upselling to create incremental new business. Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong client relationships manage account escalations and ensure direct communication with key decision makers. Sales Metrics and Performance: Successfully close sales deals deliver on sales metrics and secure renewal and new contracts to meet performance targets. Customer Needs and Solutioning: Assess and understand customer needs to tailor solutions leveraging a consultative approach to meet strategic business priorities and apply the latest technologies. Market and Industry Knowledge: Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends and identify key customer needs utilizing this knowledge to enhance sales opportunities and improve customer satisfaction (Net Promoter Score - NPS).
Job Contribution: A mid-level sales representative with solid grasp of sales principles practices products and services. Manages small to mid-sized sales and occasionally handles large complex sales. Works with moderate on-going supervision. Responsible for a moderate quota or territory. Utilizes company policies and exercises judgment to resolve customer issues or identify opportunities.
