Sr Lab Assistant

Labcorp is seeking a Sr. Lab Assistant to join our team in Madison WI.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs any combination of sample management tasks including labeling transferring tracking inventory archival shipping and disposal of samples.

• Reviews sample paperwork against samples to ensure accuracy.

• Communicate discrepancies to appropriate personnel and assists with problem solving.

• Communicates confirmation of sample receipt to clients if appropriate.

• Handles internal customer inquiries and requests.

• Distributes sample information and paperwork.

• Responsible for entry and accuracy of sample tracking systems.

• Introduces and develops improvement ideas for the group with the assistance of others.

• Certified as an authorized environmental system monitor as appropriate.

• Maintains storage units

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 or more years of experience in Sample Handling
