Job Summary
Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist - School
Location: Aurora CO
Shift: Day Shift 7:30 AM 3:30 PM
Duration: 30 Weeks
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join a school-based team in Aurora CO. The ideal candidate will assess diagnose and treat speech language communication and swallowing disorders while supporting students academic and social development.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions
Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as needed
Collaborate with teachers parents and multidisciplinary teams
Provide guidance to staff and caregivers on communication strategies
Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school guidelines
Stay updated on best practices and professional standards in speech-language pathology
Requirements
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist License
ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
Previous school or pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge of IEP processes and evidence-based interventions
