Job Summary
POSITION TITLE: Speech Language Pathologist QUALIFICATIONS: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited state licensure and/or certification as a Speech-Language for or possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) of federal and state special education laws and to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary organizational communication and interpersonal : 190 days EVALUATOR(S): Director of Student Services JOB DESCRIPTION: The Speech-Language Pathologist provides assessment diagnosis and treatment of speech language voice fluency and communication disorders in students. The SLP collaborates with teachers parents and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication skills and academic success. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Conduct speech and language screenings evaluations and re-evaluations for and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with communication individual and small-group speech and language therapy documentation progress monitoring and service logs in compliance with district state and federal in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team with teachers administrators and parents to support student communication consultation and training to school staff regarding communication strategies and student progress and adjust therapy plans as confidentiality and comply with IDEA FERPA and district required Medicaid billing and service documentation if other duties as assigned by supervisors.
