Overview
Our client is seeking a Software Engineer with strong Web Stack development expertise to support a special project focused on code review gap analysis and software development. This individual will work closely with developers and business stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business requirements.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of software development experience including time in a mid-level or senior-level capacity and possess strong JavaScript and TypeScript expertise.

Professional Experience

• 3 years of software development experience.

• At least 2 years operating in a mid-level or senior-level development role.

• Experience leading projects from planning through completion.

• Ability to think critically solve abstract problems and take ownership of solutions.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Experience with:

• Code reviews

• Branch management

• Merge conflict resolution

• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Required Technical Skills

Core Technologies

• JavaScript (strong expertise required)

• TypeScript (strong expertise required)

• ElectronJS

Front-End Technologies

• HTML

• CSS

• CSS Frameworks (e.g. Tailwind CSS)

• or similar front-end libraries

What Youll Do. (Skills Used in this Position)

• Perform code reviews and gap analysis between development output and business requirements.

• Support the analysis development modification testing and maintenance of software applications and operating system software.

• Assist in evaluating software and hardware options risks costs and business impacts.

• Analyze and troubleshoot application issues and implement resolutions.

• Develop and modify information system programs.

• Support implementation of moderately complex multi-platform operating systems and applications.

• Resolve technical problems while considering system limitations capacity performance and desired outcomes.

• Assist with gathering system requirements through user interaction and analysis.

• Monitor software project progress track activities resolve issues and provide status updates.

• Collaborate effectively as part of a development team.

• Follow all applicable physical and digital security practices and organizational code of conduct requirements.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Compensation Information
The expected salary range for this position is $50 - $73 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health insurance and paid time off. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity.
