Software Engineer, Level 0 (AEC)

AEITS a GTSC company seeks a Software Engineer Level 0.

This position pending contract award

Location: Annapolis Junction Maryland area

All work is on-site in-person in a SCIF environment. This is not a hybrid or remote position.

Clearance: Top Secret SCI with appropriate polygraph.

Compensation: $86500 to $92800.

Mission Description:

Design develop test deploy and maintain complex software solutions supporting mission-critical systems large-scale data processing advanced analytics and enterprise applications.

• Analyze user and system requirements to develop software design solutions.
• Design develop test and maintain software applications and services.
• Debug troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Integrate software into new and existing systems and operating environments.
• Develop and optimize database interfaces queries and data repositories.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and design artifacts.
• Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning development testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with software engineers systems engineers architects and stakeholders to deliver mission-focused solutions.
• Support software quality assurance configuration management and release activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

• No prior professional software engineering experience required.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related discipline.
• 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
