Job Description:
A Software Engineer Intern assists engineering teams in building testing and debugging applications. They write code design features and learn industrys best practices while tackling real-world projects. This role provides on-the-job training and exposure to software development life cycles (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Coding & Development: Write and modify clean efficient code using languages like Python Java C or JavaScript.
- Testing & Debugging: Develop unit tests run test suites and identify/troubleshoot software bugs.
- Team Collaboration: Work within Agile teams alongside experienced developers product managers and UX designers.
- Learning & Prototyping: Experiment with new technologies APIs and frameworks (e.g. AI/ML tools) to build proof-of-concept prototypes.
- Documentation: Assist in maintaining technical documentation and writing specs for future development

Pay Range $48100.00 - $86950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
