Key job responsibilities
Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive design and bring innovative products and services to market.
Leverage GenAI to design and implement high-performance scalable checkout solutions..
Collaborate with teams across Amazon to build new and optimize existing checkout experiences.
Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
Own end-to-end delivery of features from design to production launch.
Develop the team and guide new Amazonians and interns in their projects.

We collaborate across disciplines with product managers UX designers and researchers and business intelligence engineers to innovate measure analyze and refine the experiences we deliver to millions of customers across the planet on a daily basis. Our roles are all well defined but we encourage individuals to cross boundaries learn and innovate in their roles.

- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 1 years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1 years of designing and developing large-scale multi-tiered multi-threaded embedded or distributed software applications tools systems and services using: C# C Java or Perl experience
- 1 years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
