Site Project Manager Engineer

This role offers the opportunity toown and deliver high-impact capital projectsin a complex chemical manufacturing environment working alongside a collaborative team of engineering operations and site leadership.

The Opportunity

As a Project Manager you will serve as thesingle point of accountabilityfor delivering capital projects from concept through commissioning. You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are executed safely efficiently and in alignment with business objectiveswhile influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving disciplined project performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead capital projectsof varying size and complexity from concept development through commissioning

• Deliver projects that meet or exceed safety cost schedule and quality objectives

• Define project scope objectives and success criteria in partnership with engineering operations and site leadership

• Develop and executecomprehensive project plans including cost estimates schedules and resource requirements

• Drive project performance including cost forecasting schedule management and risk mitigation

• Serve as theprimary project leader aligning cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders to drive decisions

• Oversee engineering design technical deliverables and vendor performance to ensure quality execution

• Manage contractors and coordinate engineering procurement and construction (EPC) activities

• Lead bid package development contractor selection and contracting strategies

• Manage scope changes through structured change management processes

• Ensure compliance with safety standards regulatory requirements and company project controls

• Championconstructability value improvement and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Civil Electrical Engineering or related field

• Experience leading capital projects in manufacturing industrial or plant environments

• Proven ability tolead cross-functional teams and influence diverse stakeholders

• Strong understanding of project controls including cost forecasting and schedule management

• Experience withrisk management processes(e.g. risk registers HAZOP/PHA integration)

• Working knowledge ofprocess safety management (PSM) MOC and regulatory requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in chemical petrochemical or heavy industrial environments

• Background in front-end loading (FEL) and stage-gate project development

• Familiarity with SAP Project Systems (PS) or similar project management tools

• Experience managing engineering procurement and construction (EPC) contractors

• Ability to develop and evaluate project business cases
