Service Manager Paver Segment

Our Construction Equipment group is seeking a full-time Service Manager for our Michigan Paver segment. This individual can report out of any of the following MI locations: Detroit Byron Center New Hudson Burton Jackson or Traverse City. Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:Organize and present at weekly tech meetings and safety trainingMaintain high-quality service delivery in an efficient productive and profitable mannerMaintain ongoing maintenance schedules for service accountsOrganize coordinate and schedule all scheduled maintenance replacement and Customer service work ordersAssist or assign assistance for technician on accounts to ensure work qualityMaintain open and positive communication (both in verbal and written form) with employees departments customers and vendorsMaintain appropriate staffing level and workload distribution to meet customer and business needsDispatch according to priorityMeet or exceed monthly budgeted revenue with a 65% or higher GPWork with PSSR to quote repairs timely and accuratelyOpen and close work orders with accuracy and clarity for customer billingMonitor employee training progressDiscipline according to the Alta Handbook / Local 324 union working closely with HROversee payroll entry and audit for accuracyPurchase order acquisition and coordinationMonitor work in progress dailyResponsible for condition of service vehicles and facilityRequired to be in the weekend on-call rotation for your segmentRecruit / interview / hire techniciansPerform yearly technician reviewsPromote a positive customer experienceIncorporates Altas Guiding Principles into daily activitiesPerforms other duties as neededPhysical Demands/Work Environment:Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will sit use hands talk/hear; Occasionally will stand walk reach with hands and arms climb or balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl taste/ Requirements: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)Lift and/or Move Functions: Occasionally up to 25 poundsWork Environment: Occasionally will work near moving mechanical parts exposed to fumes or airborne particles outdoor weather conditions
