Senior Systems Analyst

The Senior Systems Analyst (Cloud & DevOps) is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for designing building operating and continuously improving AAASs cloud infrastructure and deployment automation platforms. This role focuses on AWS-based systems CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation to support reliable secure and repeatable delivery of applications and services.

The incumbent works closely with Application Development Web Development Security and IT Operations teams as a technical peer owning delivery tooling and automating operational workflows to improve reliability security and efficiency across the organization.

What Youll Do

Cloud Infrastructure & Operations

• Design deploy and maintain AWS-based infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Administer and optimize core AWS services including EC2 S3 RDS IAM VPC and related services.
• Implement security best practices for cloud environments in partnership with IT Security.
• Monitor system health performance availability and costs; proactively address reliability risks.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for systems owned by the role.

DevOps & CI/CD Enablement

• Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.
• Partner with development teams to standardize build deployment and release workflows.
• Improve deployment safety through automation testing validation and rollback mechanisms.
• Integrate security scanning secrets management and compliance controls into pipelines.

Operational Resilience & Documentation

• Document architectures pipelines operational procedures and automation clearly and accurately.
• Produce and maintain as-built and as-operated documentation to support IT Operations.

Collaboration & Support

• Serve as a technical partner to Application Development Web Development and IT Operations teams.
• Provide tiered operational support and troubleshooting for cloud and deployment platforms.
• Participate in infrastructure and platform initiatives aligned with AAAS technology strategy.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience in systems administration cloud engineering or DevOps roles.
• Hands-on experience operating production workloads in AWS or Azure environments
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions GitLab CI Azure DevOps or equivalent).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools and automation practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root-cause analysis.
• Ability to work independently with defined objectives and broad technical latitude.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams without formal authority.
• Discipline in documentation change management and following established standards.

The anticipated initial rate of compensation for this position is between $110000 $146000 per year.
