Job Description:

L3Harrisis seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Orlando FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and a solid understanding of designing and integrating electrical assemblies into broader level aerospace systems. This role involves contribution to the detailed design development and execution of complex electrical systems projects. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality electrical designs. At this location Coleman Aerospace produces complex single two and three stage launch vehicles used to support ballistic missile defense testing.

Essential Functions:

• Detailed Design and Development: Participate in the detailed design development integration and test of electrical systems.
• Technical Contribution: Provide technical expertise and contribute to a wide variety of problem-solving efforts throughout the design and development process.
• Project Execution: Support the planning and execution of project schedules ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
• Systems Engineering: Apply systems engineering principles to ensure the integration and compatibility of electrical systems with other subsystems.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards regulations and best practices.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation including design specifications test plans and reports.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical software and systems engineers to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant Electrical Systems and Test engineering experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. Requires strong knowledge of job area.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical design tools (e.g. Xpedition Designer PADS) and simulation software (e.g. PSPICE).
• Systems Engineering: Basic understanding of systems engineering principles and their application in the design and integration of electrical systems.
• Project Management: Experience in supporting execution of complex technical projects.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenge
