Key job responsibilities
- Designing and executing process-level and data-level controls across key sustainability metrics including Carbon Waste Water Community and Workplace Health & Safety.
- Supporting data reconciliation consistency checks and substantiation processes for metrics included in Amazons annual Sustainability Report and regulatory filings.
- Partnering with Sustainability Tech FinTech and Business teams to onboard applications and datasets to GRC platforms.
- Contributing to the development of scalable reporting tools including controls and data quality dashboards to improve efficiency and transparency across the program.
- Supporting compliance with emerging regulatory frameworks including the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and other global disclosure requirements.
- Participating in Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews and cross-functional Meetings providing clear and concise updates on workstream status and risk posture.
- 4 years of compliance program management legal governance audit risk/loss prevention or equivalent experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in a related field
- Experience handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives
- Experience with regulatory filings and reports or equivalent
- Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders
- 6 years of compliance audit or risk management experience
- Professional auditing qualification or similar risk or compliance credentials
- Experience with SQL and Excel
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g. GRI TCFD CSRD GHG Protocol)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
